17 October 2026 · Ascot · Great Britain

Godolphin collected its 18th British champion-owner title at Ascot after a season led by Notable Speech and Ombudsman.

Godolphin received the British champion-owner award for the 18th time at Ascot on Saturday 17 October 2026, the final day of the Flat owners’ championship.

Notable Speech won the G1 Lockinge Stakes and G1 City Of York Stakes. Ombudsman won the G1 Prince Of Wales’s Stakes for a second successive year, then beat Calandagan in the G1 Champion Stakes at Ascot. Talk Of New York added the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, while Musical Times finished her unbeaten season with a G1 Fillies’ Mile victory.

The British Flat owners’ championship ran from 2 May to 17 October 2026. Great British Racing ranks owners by prize money won during that period.
