Six Al Shaqab championships this evening

Finals begin on Saturday, 7 November at 16:30 Qatar time for yearlings, juniors and senior mares and stallions.

The Al Shaqab International Arabian Horse Show reaches its final day on Saturday, 7 November at Doha’s Longines Outdoor Arena. The published programme schedules the six championships from 16:30 Qatar time.

The programme proceeds through yearling fillies and colts, junior fillies and colts, then senior mares and stallions. These finals are distinct from the qualifying classes held from Wednesday to Friday; a qualifying-class win does not itself confer a championship title.

Friday’s published schedule covered junior colt sections 6A and 6B, senior mares 7A and 7B and stallions 8A and 8B. The show is classified B International and is organised by Al Shaqab; this edition began on 4 November.
