Al Shaqab League round two set for 13–14 November
The fourth season of the Al Shaqab League returns to the Longines Indoor Arena in Doha on 13–14 November 2026 for round two. Al Shaqab’s announcement, reported by Qatar News Agency on 8 October, describes a national pathway for riders at different stages. This is distinct from the international CSI meetings listed for 2027.
Eight classes are announced: three introductory levels at 40, 60 and 80 cm; Amateur at 100–110 cm; Future Champions at 110–120 cm; Junior Champions at 120–130 cm; Youth Champions at 130–140 cm; and Al Shaqab Champions at 135–145 cm. Age eligibility varies by class. These heights describe the programme, not the result of a round yet to be held.
The five-round season opened on 16–17 October. Round two is followed by 11–12 December, 30 April–1 May 2027 and the finale on 14–15 May. The team format replaces last season’s Amateur slot with Al Shaqab Champions. Four riders represent the Champions, Youth, Junior and Future Champions classes in each team; the organiser announced 12 planned teams for the season.
This is a preview of the confirmed dates and published class structure, not a report of round-two results. Winners, times and penalties will only be reported after the organiser releases verified starting lists and results. Any programme change should be checked against the round’s official bulletin.
