Altostratus, a three-year-old by Kingman out of Above The Storm, races for Wathnan Racing and is trained by Jérôme Reynier. Altostratus took the lead early, resisted challenges around the final turn and drew clear to win by two lengths on debut. He sustained his effort after coming under pressure.
Kanewko, a three-year-old by New Bay out of Kanuka, races for Jean-Claude Seroul and is trained by Christophe Escuder. Kanewko finished second, two lengths behind Altostratus and two lengths ahead of Otonia. The result establishes his superiority over the remaining runners, while the finishing margin alone does not explain his trip.
Otonia, a three-year-old by Almanzor out of Stormyza, races for Michel Nikitas and is trained by Stéphane Labate. Otonia finished third, two lengths behind Kanewko and a length ahead of the fourth horse. She was the highest-placed filly in this nine-runner race for three-year-olds.
