Jimmysstar

New Zealand-bred Jimmysstar began racing in his home country before joining Ciaron Maher in Australia. His 2025 campaign included Group 1 wins in the 1,100-metre Oakleigh Plate and 1,400-metre All Aged Stakes, followed by third place in the Everest. Winning the 2026 Manikato Stakes reaffirmed his elite sprint credentials. His record includes a strong finishing acceleration when clear running becomes available, making rider timing and straight-running room important to his assessment. His previous Everest placing establishes competitive suitability without removing the need to reassess preparation and the new draw.

  • 2025 Oakleigh Plate — winner, Group 1, 1,100 metres.
  • 2025 All Aged Stakes — winner, Group 1, 1,400 metres.
  • 2025 Everest — third.
  • 2026 Manikato Stakes — winner, Group 1.

Per Incanto

Per Incanto is by Street Cry out of Pappa Reale. His production includes Jimmysstar and high-level international winners. His pedigree and breeding record establish the Street Cry line’s presence in Australian and New Zealand racing, while the individual runner must still be judged through actual performance.

  • Sire of Jimmysstar, winner of the Oakleigh Plate and All Aged Stakes.
  • Sire of Charms Star, winner of the Group 3 Manawatu Breeders Stakes.

Anniesstar

Anniesstar, a Zed mare, won five races including the 2,100-metre Feilding Gold Cup. She produced Jimmysstar and Charms Star, winner of the Manawatu Breeders’ Stakes and runner-up in the New Zealand and Queensland Oaks. Her offspring include a leading sprinter and a successful longer-distance mare; this is production evidence, not a basis for comparing performances across divisions.
