Tempted

Tempted is an Australian Thoroughbred mare foaled on 24 August 2022, bred by Godolphin out of Calliope by Street Boss. Second in the 2025 Everest, she developed into a Group 1 winner in the 2026 Surround Stakes. Victories in the Concorde and Premiere Stakes at Randwick supplied recent preparation evidence for another Everest campaign. Her owner confirmed its slot selection following the Premiere win, recording nine victories from 14 starts as of 6 October 2026. Her assessment combines direct Everest experience with current preparation form; neither pedigree nor a winning sequence alone determines her prospects.

  • 2025 Everest — second.
  • 2026 Surround Stakes — winner, Group 1.
  • 2026 Arrowfield 3YO Sprint — winner, Group 2.
  • 2026 Concorde Stakes — winner, Group 2.

Street Boss

Street Boss is by Street Cry out of Blushing Ogygian. He won the US Group 1 Bing Crosby and Triple Bend races and has produced champions including Anamoe and Tempted. His record combines sprinting performance with successful offspring over a range of distances, so the sire’s name alone should not determine an individual’s optimal trip.

  • 2008 Bing Crosby Handicap — Group 1.
  • 2008 Triple Bend Handicap — Group 1.
  • Sire of Group 1 winners Anamoe and Tempted.

Calliope

Calliope is by Exceed And Excel out of Melpomene. Godolphin records her as a juvenile winner including a Group 2 success. Her offspring include Tempted, Group 2 winner Kallos and Rhesus. Multiple successful offspring provide a production basis for assessing the family, while each horse retains its own career and performance trajectory.

  • Juvenile winner including a Group 2 race.
  • Dam of Tempted and Group 2 winner Kallos.
